MAN Group undergoes image makeover

MIDLANDS manufacturing partnership, the MAN Group is preparing to celebrate its fifth birthday with a style makeover.

The group, which comprises 10 SME manufacturing firms from around the region, is evolving its brand identity with new promotional material and a website overhaul.

The results will be unveiled at this month’s Subcon 2010 event, which takes place at the National Exhibition Centre between June 8-10.

The new image features the colours red, white and blue and all material will carry the tagline ‘Manufacturing Excellence’.

Chris Brown, head of marketing at MAN and owner of group member Excalibur Engineering, said the time was right to attack the marketplace.

“The evolution of the brand reflects where we have come as an organisation and epitomises our core values of being a modern, world class manufacturing group capable of taking on any job in the world,” he said.

In addition to Subcon, the branding will also be evident in the group’s activities at this year’s Farnborough Air Show, which takes place in July.
