The only way is an Essex firm for Embassy House

ESSEX-based enforcement firm Marston Group has taken space in Embassy House in Birmingham city centre.

The letting, agreed by DTZ and Jones Lang LaSalle is the first at the office scheme since it underwent a £2m refurbishment.

A comprehensive refurbishment of the building was completed in January, including major works to the reception and communal area, and it now offers Grade A accommodation.

Marston Group has taken 5,635 sq ft on the sixth floor of Embassy House on a ten year lease.

Matthew Long, associate director at DTZ, said: “This is a great example of how a substantial refurbishment can help to breathe new life into a building and attract tenants seeking centrally located accommodation.”

Marston Group is the largest privately-owned specialist UK company operating in the field of civil and High Court enforcement. Its Birmingham office will operate as the main hub for their High Court enforcement division.

John Crichton, Marston’s finance director, said: “Embassy House immediately caught our attention due to its prime location in Birmingham’s business district, the availability of high quality accommodation and access to our client base.”
