Experienced bid manager joins Anglo Holt

ANGLO Holt Construction has appointed a new bid manager as it continues its drive for new business in a variety of sectors including automotive and industrial, education, distribution, commercial, retail and leisure.

Garry Martin has joined the West Bromwich-based firm, bringing with him 30 years’ experience in the construction industry.

Martin, who began his career as a site engineer, has played a key role in securing projects worth in excess of £200m.

They include the £18m construction of Warwickshire College Campus, the £9.1m design and build of West Midlands Fire Service HQ, and the £8.7m design and construction of 80 apartments at the Arcadian Centre in Birmingham.

Previous roles include partnership manager at Midlands construction group GF Tomlinson and bid manager at Ashford Construction. He was also a site manager at Wimpey Construction/Tarmac Building.
