New property manager for PxP West Midlands

PxP West Midlands – the regeneration partnership between Advantage West Midlands and property investor and developer Langtree – has appointed a new property manager. Christopher Theocharides, the former residential property manager of City Life Group, will run the day-to-day activities of the partnership’s Shropshire and Herefordshire-based industrial estates. The post is a brand new role within PxP. Mr Theocharides, 25, was born in Halesowen and studied real estate at Birmingham City University, after which he worked at the DBK Group as part of its affordable housing and residential consultancy team. He then joined City Life Group working on their managing their apartments in Birmingham city centre. He said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of managing commercial units and I am extremely pleased to join PxP West Midlands.”

Black Country move for commercial property solicitor

Philip Gray, 26, joins the Brierley Hill-based firm from Kirwans in Liverpool. Mr Gray said: “This is a great move for me. The commercial property team has an excellent reputation and is supported by leading lawyers from other departments within the firm. I’m looking forward to helping the department grow even further in the future.” Head of the firm’s commercial property team Peter Coleman said: “2010 has proved a busy year for our department with work from existing clients and new businesses. ProLogis expands Solihull team

James Wright, who starts as a market officer for ProLogis in Solihull in September 2010INDUSTRIAL and distribution building provider ProLogis is expanding its team in Solihull. James Wright, (right), currently a partner with chartered surveyors and property consultants Gerald Eve in London, will join the firm next month as market officer. He is a qualified chartered surveyor who started his career with Slough Estates. Also recently joining ProLogis in Solihull are market officer James Craddock and project manager Jamie West. Mr Craddock joined the company from Sunrise Senior Living, having previously worked for MetLife and CB Richard Ellis. Mr West was previously project manager at Goodman for three years and a quantity surveyor for 15 years with Wilson Bowden. MD of ProLogis UK Andy Griffiths said: “It is a real milestone for our business to announce the expansion of our team following what has been an extremely challenging period addressing the continuing economic difficulties.”
