Linton Metalware eyes acquisitions after securing investment cash

MANUFACTURER Linton Metalware has secured a package of funding worth £500,000.
The Sparkhill, Birmingham-based firm plans to use the money to facilitate growth through acquisition and investment into new equipment.
Director Ameen Thabet procured the funding with the help of Chris Brown, head of corporate at Birmingham-based Central Finance.
The funding was put in place through a peer-to-peer lender, asset finance and a grant towards equipment.
Thabet said: “I am excited about the growth prospects of my company and the benefits to the local area. I also have to give special thanks to Central Finance as without them, I wouldn’t have been able to arrange the package of funding for the development of Linton Metalware.”
Brown added: “Mr Thabet’s company fulfils all the requirements of a business that contributes to the local and UK economy.
“With this investment the firm will see growth in jobs and their export markets.”
Established in 1924 and under the ownership of Thabet since 2006, Linton Metalware is a long-standing manufacturer of metal litter bins and litter solution products, with customers in both, the private and public sector.
