Whitefoot-Forward concludes storage deal with law firm

WORCESTERSHIRE records management business, Whitefoot-Forward, has secured a major deal with one of the region’s law firms.

The Hartlebury-based firm has concluded a deal providing records management for solicitors Rickerbys in Cheltenham.

Rickerbys, which merged with Worcestershire’s Harrison Clark last year, will store and manage the law firm’s archived paper records. The records management company already provided the service to Harrison Clark.

Whitefoot-Forward said by necessity, the work generated by the respective legal practices created large volumes of highly confidential information that, by law, needed to be stored and easily accessed by the firm’s solicitors at short notice.
The solution offered by Whitefoot-Forward Records Management provides storage for pre-merger Rickerbys records and documents and will also arrange secure, certificated destruction of the records when they reach the end of their storage period.

Whitefoot-Forward also continues to provide the expanded firm with the space to keep more recent documents and records, online access to listings of what is stored and personal delivery of requested records to its offices by a Whitefoot-Forward driver.

Colin Box, Business Director, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, said: “Whitefoot-Forward has been providing a storage solution for Harrison Clark for several years, and so when the need arose for additional storage to meet our extra needs following the merger of Harrison Clark and Rickerbys it was an obvious solution.

“The company has a strong reputation for looking after confidential documents for many other professional services firms, both in Worcestershire and across the Midlands.”

Michael Whitefoot, managing director at Whitefoot-Forward Records Management said: “We are very pleased to continue to assist Harrison Clark Rickerbys with its additional records management needs and offer our unrivalled service to their offices across the Midlands. We look forward continuing this relationship in the years to come.”
