CPBigwood completes speedy sale of concrete batching plant

A CONCRETE batching plant at a Birmingham business park has been sold in just 28 days from start to completion by commercial property agents CPBigwood.
Matts Grab Hire of Solihull has acquired the plant at Sapcote Business Centre to augment its existing business providing waste removal, and demolition and site clearance services.
Director Ian Butler said the company was in to process of moving to the site and the new business was expected to create up to four new jobs.
The 0.8 acre site, which was acquired freehold from a private investor for £375,000, includes a concrete batching yard and associated office and storage buildings, and also an area of undeveloped land between the batching plant and Small Heath Highway.
Rob Watts, of CPBigwood, who handled the sale said: “This was an ideal opportunity for a business that was looking to expand and it is to the credit of both parties that the deal was completed in just 28 days.
“Matts Grab Hire will be able to service their clients across the Midlands region from this central site and we wish them well in their new venture.”
