Bilfinger GVA appointed to Warwick land sale

BILFINGER GVA has been appointed on the sale of an 8.6 acre site in Warwick, on behalf of Warwickshire County Council.
 
The property, a former specialist school and county store buildings, is situated in a predominantly residential area between Montague Road and the Coventry Road (A429). It is anticipated that the property will be sold freehold in its current condition for residential development, subject to planning.
 
The site offers existing accommodation of approximately 92,000 sq ft and has a waterside frontage and outlook. The county store buildings will remain in use with a phased relocation for the industrial units expected in mid-2016.
 
The disposal of the site is being handled by Bilfinger GVA’s Land and Development team which may seek to obtain planning for residential development of the site with a preferred development partner.

The team is also assessing whether to offer the property in its current condition.
