Harvey Nichols teams up with Michelin-starred chef

A MICHELIN-starred chef is joining the team at Harvey Nichols in Leeds this month to offer customers a preview of his tasting menu.

Nigel Mendham, head chef of von Essen Hotels’ The Samling in Cumbria, has set up base in executive chef Richard Walton-Allen’s kitchen to create a special menu.

Tickets are on sale for the preview evening this Sunday, offered at a reduced price of £45 per person.

Then from March 15 until March 19 a Samling lunch will be available at the fourth floor restaurant, with two courses for £17 and three courses for £20.

At dinner, a six course tasting menu collaboration between Nigel and Richard will be available at £65 per person.

Samling afternoon tea will also be offered throughout March.
