Euro Car Parts signs on to new-build warehouse

Car parts distributor Euro Car Parts has signed on to a 20,700 sq ft site at Cross Green Industrial Estate in Leeds.

The new-build warehouse was constructed by Solvgrin, and CBRE’s industrial agency team along with gent Visick helped secure the lease.

BTS Consultants acted for Euro Car Parts.

Solvgrin built the high spec warehouse overlooking Pontefract Lane, connecting directly to the East Leeds Link Road.

It has also secured planning consent to construct a further 6,000 sq ft detached industrial unit adjacent to the Euro Car Parts site.

The Cross Green site has been transformed with the developments of Gateway45, Connex 45 and Kinetic45 in recent years.

Neighbouring occupiers to the established Cross Green Industrial Estate include Barkston Plastics, Tool Station, Yorkshire Produce Centre, Norbert Dentresseangle, William Cook Cast Products and Norish.

Mike Baugh, senior director of Industrial Agency at CBRE Leeds, said; “We are pleased to have secured Euro Car Parts as a tenant for this highly prominent scheme. Solvgrin have constructed a very attractive unit at this gateway to Leeds site, which continues the success of this part of the city as an industrial, distribution and manufacturing hub.

“Occupiers are drawn to this area due to a combination of excellent connectivity and proximity to the city centre for both attracting and retaining talent.”

Paul Mack, director at Gent Visick, said; “We continue to see very strong occupational demand for modern/new build warehouse and distribution premises in Leeds, particularly in the Aire Valley which has seen an incredible transformation over the past three years.”
