On the move: RSM unveils new offices; Carter Jonas in Leeds expansion
Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has unveiled its new office at Leeds’ flagship commercial development Central Square.
The business has relocated around 300 people from two offices on Whitehall Quay and Wellington Street into one office spanning 25,000 sq ft.
Kevin O’Connor, RSM’s regional managing partner for Yorkshire and the North East, said: “It was great to unveil our new office. The space has not only transformed how we engage with our clients, but the landmark office delivers a modern working environment that encourages further interaction and collaboration. Last night’s event was a classic example of this, as we utilised both our office space, the central atrium and the sky garden to host guests and celebrate what is a key moment for the firm.
“Leeds is an important market for RSM and this investment marks an exciting new chapter for us. It is more than just moving location, as the new office reinforces our commitment to the region and strengthens our position as leading advisers to middle market businesses across the North.”
Meanwhile, property consultancy Carter Jonas is expanding its operation in Yorkshire taking 4,500 sq ft for its new office in Leeds.
The company has relocated a 30 strong commercial, development, planning and infrastructure team to Nine Bond Court in the heart of the city’s commercial district.
With a network of 38 offices across the UK including four in Yorkshire, Carter Jonas said the move is part of its strategy to enhance its commercial offering in Leeds and the surrounding region. The team relocated to the office earlier this month, following a refurbishment of the Bond Court offices.
