Property heavyweight adds to £6.6bn portfolio with industrial acquisition

Telereal Trillium, one of the UK’s largest property companies, has expanded its portfolio of industrial property after acquiring a warehouse in South Yorkshire for £4.4m.
The company has snapped up the 87,000 sq ft warehouse on the Denaby Industrial Estate in Doncaster, adding to its £6bn portfolio which has a total floor area of 86 million sq ft.
The property, which sits on almost five acres of land and is currently let to Clytha Holdings, is located on the estate which houses a range of occupiers in the manufacturing and distribution sectors to include United Carpets, Suez Environment Supplies and Whyte Chemicals.
Roger Haworth, partner at CPP, said: “We are delighted to have facilitated the sale of this industrial property at Denaby Industrial Estate, which sold ahead of the asking price. This is indicative of the demand in the area for industrial warehouse property.
“The acquisition of the industrial property at Denaby Industrial Estate will be an excellent addition to Telereal Trillium’s portfolio due to its quality and long lease term.”
