IT firm expands into Leeds following office acquisition

A Bradford IT firm has expanded into Leeds after acquiring offices at a business park.

Leeds-based Evans Property Group has completed the sale of a 5,100 sq ft unit within Global Business Park in Millshaw to Lily Comms.

The property will be the first Leeds base for the expanding West Yorkshire IT company.

Richard Bean, senior asset manager for Evans Property Group, said: “We are delighted to complete the recent sale of Unit A to Lily Comms. Leeds is fast becoming a major hub for the TMT industry and we are witnessing strong levels of interest from this sector. The excellent position of the new offices within Global Business Park provides the perfect location for the company to further expand, and even go global.”

Robin Beagley, partner of commercial property agents WSB, who acted on behalf of Evans Property Group, said: “Global Business Park is a significant out of town office development and the success we have seen with the sale of Unit A underlines the appeal to occupiers of being located in this convenient position close to Leeds City Centre, the motorway network and all of the amenities on offer at The White Rose Centre.”
