Bathroom trade business expands into Huddersfield

Bathroom and tile supplier Clifton Trade Bathrooms is continuing its business expansion with the opening of a new showroom in Huddersfield.

The bathroom trade specialists currently have 14 established showrooms across the UK, including one in Leeds. Construction work for the new showroom on Leeds Road, Huddersfield started in April.

The business is expected to turnover around 14m this year and employs around 130 people.

A total of six new jobs including the new depot manager, Matt Cohen, will be created when it opens in July. Cohen said: “All of our depots are located in the North of England and this location is a hot spot for trade as it was the old Howden’s building. Our whole business is set-up to support local tradesmen.”
