Business leaders to discuss passion for tech sector at Women in Business Lunch

Two business leaders who are spearheading the way for women in the technology sector in Yorkshire are set to share their insights on a number of different topics at TheBusinessDesk.com’s upcoming Women In Business Lunch.

Anna Sutton, founding director of the Data Shed, and Zandra Moore, CEO and co-founder of Panintelligence, will discuss funding options and dealing with growth, and share their experiences of being a female leader in a typically male environment.

The business leaders will talk about their passion for tech and inspiring the next generation, as well as updating delegates on how they have carved their careers in the region and how they perceive the marketplace at present.

Sutton and Moore will also highlight the challenges and opportunities they and their businesses face.

Do they feel the sector is booming at present? If so, why? And is there enough talent available to ensure we maximise upon that for the economic value it could bring? What is it like to work in such a competitive marketplace?

Sutton has spent the last five years building a data consultancy to self-fund the development of the firm’s first SaaS product. Coming from a marketing background, she had little technical knowledge but is now completely immersed in the tech market.

Her focus is on building useful technical solutions that drive instant improvement for clients, bringing a more commercial than technical focus to projects. The business has grown rapidly and is expanding its team as a result.

Moore has over 20 years’ experience of working with a range of technology partners and solutions. Her passion and enthusiasm for enabling business and public-sector managers to drive performance through data insights and analytics is highly infectious.

She is now leading the firm through further growth, especially in the export market.

The lunch event, which includes a welcome drink and a two-course meal, takes place on November 16. Tickets are available online now for what promises to be an interesting afternoon.
