Dental firm bites into international market as export sales hit £1.1m

A Bradford-based dental company has revealed a record-breaking year, with its expertise making an impact across the globe.

EthOss Regeneration, which produces EthOss® – a material that encourages new bone growth during dental implant procedures – has grown rapidly internationally, with distribution partners now set up in 40 countries.

Over the last year the company has signed agreements with distributors in nations including Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Jordan, Australia and New Zealand. As a result of this, export sales have increased to £1.1m in 2019, a 148% increase on 2018. And the business has increased its turnover by almost 60% over the last 12 months.

This latest news follows a recent announcement that EthOss has been shortlisted for two SME National Business Awards, in the Best Enterprising Business and the Business of the Year categories.

Dr Paul Harrison, Managing Director of the company said: “We are really proud of how the business is making a mark across the dental industry both here in the UK and, particularly, internationally.

“We have plans underway to continue to grow the business, so to see these results from over the last 12 months gives us confidence that we are on track to reach our targets, as we look to continue to get a strong foothold in both our established and emerging markets across the globe.

“We have a loyal customer base who have been very supportive of our product and we are really excited about working with them in the future as well as developing new partnerships in other countries. We have a great team who are committed to the vision we have for EthOss and we are all looking forward to developing the business further.

“The recent national business award nominations have been the icing on the cake for what has been an incredibly successful year for us.”
