External work on new apartments to be completed by Christmas

A luxury residential development project comprising 20 apartments has been launched in Harrogate.
More than 100 potential buyers have expressed interest in the Southfield & Ellis House development in Harrogate following a recent event hosted by North Yorkshire property developer, Quattro Property Group and appointed agents Linley & Simpson.
Contractor, Leeds-based Castlehouse Construction is on schedule at the Station Parade site in central Harrogate, redeveloping the former Southfield House office building into nine apartments and creating a new building, Ellis House, which will accommodate a further 11 apartments with undercroft parking.
Revised planning permission for the development was granted in December 2018 and Quattro is expected to complete the external build by Christmas this year with internal works to start in the New Year, including the first show apartment launch.
Practical completion of the scheme is set for quarter two of 2020. Both buildings will mainly accommodate two bedroom apartments, with the inclusion of two one-bedroom apartments.
The scheme is within a conservation area on the corner of Station Parade and York Place, has been designed to breathe new life into this site.
Richard Lumley, chairman of Quattro Property Group, said: “We are delighted with the response we have received from interested buyers following our soft launch.
“It was fantastic to showcase our plans for this exciting development which occupies one of the best locations in central Harrogate. We are already in advanced discussions with potential buyers.”
