Strong demand for newly built homes in North Yorkshire

A housing development at Kirby Hill, near Boroughbridge, has already seen 60% of its properties sold.

The Priory Meadows development, by North-Yorkshire-based Caedmon Homes, has just been completed.

Priory Meadows will be officially launched by marketing agents Preston Baker on March 21 at 10am. The launch event, which runs until 4pm, will feature a free coffee bar.

James Baker of Preston Baker explained: “There are still 15 homes left for sale on the site out of the original 34 and we have chosen March 21, appropriately the first day of spring, to showcase them to the public. The homes available range from three-beds to five-beds, with prices starting from £377,500.”

Paul Brown, director of Caedmon, said: “We have enjoyed working with such a respected local agency as Preston Baker. They have an excellent track record for marketing homes and residential developments across Yorkshire and they have promoted Priory Meadows swiftly and effectively.”

“The launch day of March 21 is another significant step on the Priory Meadows journey and we trust all the visitors to the site on the day will be as excited about this development as we are.”

James Baker added: “There is a lot of local competition for new build-houses in the immediate area with three sites within a couple of miles but Priory Meadows is in a different class. These houses are not generic boxes and their design is exclusive to Caedmon Homes.”

Paul Brown explained: “We have chosen the location of this development extremely carefully.

“Kirby Hill is a pretty rural village near the flourishing market town of Boroughbridge and within minutes of the A1 motorway, providing easy commuting access to York, Harrogate, Leeds and Newcastle.”

Caedmon Homes is also masterminding new state-of-the-art developments in the Groves area of York and at Whitby, close to the centre of the historic town.
