Extensive renovations under way at multi-purpose warehouse

Onward Holdings Ltd says it will be launching another warehouse to the market in 2023 after multi-million pound renovations are completed at the facility.

The 63,980 sq ft multi-purpose warehouse is in Good Hope Close, on the Normanton Industrial Estate in West Yorkshire.

Onward is modernising the site including building a new roof, floors and installing exterior cladding.

With a focus on sustainability, the main structural steel portals and concrete from the original building on the site have been refurbished and re-used for the upgrade. Other improvements include modernised offices.

Onward director, Neil Storey, said: “There’s a real buzz around the forthcoming release of Good Hope Close. We bought the site knowing it was dilapidated and needed a massive upgrade.

“We planned for an extensive refurbishment. We currently have very good occupation rates so we’re always on the lookout to expand our portfolio of industrial units in the Yorkshire region.”
