Full house at flexible office provider’s workspace

Flex office provider, Cubo Leeds, has achieved 100% occupancy 12 months on from its official opening.

The 20,000 sq ft workspace on the third floor of 6 Wellington Place is now home to a diverse range of businesses,

These include global automotive technology provider Keyloop; business services provider Verastar/Inspire Payments; multi-campus summer school Summer Boarding Courses (SBC), and technology talent acquisition specialists SPG Resourcing.

Cubo was launched in 2020 by property investors Marc and Rebecca Brough.

It has seven locations across the UK: Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham and Edinburgh.

Earlier this year, ambitious plans were revealed to almost double the business’s footprint nationally by the end of 2023; a growth strategy backed by investment firm Literacy Capital.

New sites in Manchester and Newcastle are due to launch imminently, and second sites in Birmingham and Nottingham have also recently opened.

Marc Brough, CEO, said: “Cubo Leeds is a fantastic building that has welcomed a diverse range of businesses since it opened just over a year ago.

“We have ambitious plans for new workspaces in exciting locations, with representation in all leading provincial centres planned by 2025 and plans to take the brand internationally.”

One of the first tenants to relocate to Cubo in Leeds was SBC. Director Will Finlayson said: “We started life at Cubo with a 12-person office. The business has doubled in size over the past 12 months and we now have 24 desks.”
