Leeds-based digital marketing agency, Modo25, has secured a position in the top 3% of companies participating in the Google Partners programme in the UK.

The Premier Partner tier is reserved for the top participating companies each calendar year, making it the most exclusive tier of the programme.

Securing this position means Modo25 has become the first UK digital marketing in-housing agency to achieve this status, which is often awarded to more traditional agencies.

Being a Google Premier Partner grants Modo25 exclusive benefits, including access to advanced Google Ads insights and support, allowing the agency to optimise client campaigns for maximum performance.

Tom Pickard, head of paid search at the agency, said: “Being awarded the prestigious 2024 Premier Partner status in the Google Partners program signifies our expertise and knowledge and our dedication to delivering the best for our clients and taking them on an in-housing journey.

“The achievement is a testament to the team’s commitment to delivering high-impact results for our clients.

“Aside from demonstrating our industry-leading standard, it also allows us to access several additional benefits and services that will further bolster our client’s success with Google Ads.”

In addition, the agency is also expanding its team with the appointment of Gordon Squire as a lead data scientist and Tamara Hillman as trainee SEO marketing assistant.

Squire brings a range of technical expertise to the ASK BOSCO® team with 10 years of experience defining and developing solutions using the latest tools and techniques from data science.

His role will see him working on the algorithms behind ASK BOSCO®, an AI-powered reporting and forecasting platform for agencies and retailers – which was founded by Modo25.

He has previously worked in data science consulting across many industries and most recently was leading the data science function at Wiggle, the online sports retailer.

Hillman is joining the agency on an in-house training basis. Following her six-month training period, she will be taking up a permanent position at Modo25’s longstanding client, Pavers.

Hillman initially started her career as a teacher, but after spending time completing training courses and a three-month marketing placement has made the move to the industry full-time.

Squire said: “I am very happy to be joining the team at ASK BOSCO®, working on cutting-edge solutions with brilliant colleagues.”

Hillman added: “Being trained by experts in the field has provided me with a rare opportunity to help build on the foundations of SEO knowledge through a structured training programme.

“I am grateful for this opportunity that Modo25 has given me. The training under the team’s expertise will allow me to transition to working full-time for Pavers with the growth of becoming an SEO executive in-house.”

Modo25’s chief operating officer, Abi Liddle, said: “We are so happy to welcome Gordon and Tamara to the team. Gordon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience which will help to grow the agency’s skillset.

“Supporting Tamara and Pavers has allowed us to empower them in growing and building their in-house team with expert knowledge from a trusted agency partner.”
