Property people: Harron Homes Yorkshire and Sky-House Co

Leeds-based Harron Homes Yorkshire has appointed Neil Reaney as managing director.

Reaney, 55, has worked in the housebuilding industry for more than 30 years for both public and private companies and has a varied background ranging from customer services to technical services, land and operations.

His track record includes significantly raising customer satisfaction levels across a number of businesses.

Additionally, he has extensive knowledge of the northern market having worked across Yorkshire, North East and North West for many years.

He said: “The homes Harron builds are first class. What I have seen so far is on a different level and I can’t wait to get stuck in, be creative and make a difference.

“I am looking forward to ensuring this business is a finely tuned machine and is recognised for both quality and service and for being a great place to work.

“I believe that people are a business’ greatest strength, and I will be spending time on their empowerment and development, nurturing mindset, culture and bringing the best out of each and every one of them.

Reaney, a father of five, was born in Garforth and currently lives in Knaresborough.

Sky-House Co, a Sheffield-based house builder, has welcomed a new face to its expanding team.

Bozena East, who joins the company as customer experience manager, has been working in the property industry for 10 years.

She has extensive experience across the sector, having worked in residential sales, lettings, affordable housing and new builds.

She said: “I care about the customer journey through their property-buying experience.

“We are always being told how buying a house is stressful but I firmly believe it doesn’t have to be and my aim is to make a difference along the way, making a positive impact on the client’s moving experience.

“It’s an area that Sky-House Co has been looking at more and more as we launch new developments and our intention is to put the customer at the forefront of everything we do because ultimately everything we do is for them.

“I’m looking to draw on my existing experience while bringing new energy and ideas in line with the Sky-House brand.”

Sky-House Co is behind a 21st century revival of Victorian and Georgian urban design principles, with sites already well-established in Waverley, Oughtibridge, Stocksbridge and Rother Valley.

Work is now also under way on two new Waverley projects – Waverley Central and the residential element of the site’s Olive Lane development.
