Sheffield scheme goes global

TWO international companies have taken space at a scheme in Sheffield which is being hailed as a landmark development for the area.
Food and services specialist Sodexho has taken 4,000 sq ft of office space at 722 Prince of Wales Road, while almost 10,000 sq ft of space has been taken by Danieli, a leading supplier of plant and equipment to the engineering and steel industries.
The development, by Seven Two Two, includes a glass exterior, raised access floors, on-site sports club facility and a dedicated 300 space car park.
Andrew Betts, director at Danieli, said: “I had previously been employed in this building and its regeneration is a huge transformation. The new offices are cutting edge and offer exactly the kind of regional presence that an international company demands.”
The building is being marketed by agents Knight Frank, Lambert Smith Hampton and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Peter Whiteley, partner at the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, said: “We are delighted to welcome two high profile companies to this landmark development. 722 is in a prime location on Sheffield's outer ring road and offers quality office accommodation in one of the most dynamic commercial centres in the north of England.
“Further significant interest in the building is progressing, and we are hopeful of making further letting announcements shortly.”
