Monarch takes off from Leeds Bradford

MONARCH today became the latest airline to launch new scheduled services from Leeds Bradford International Airport.

Starting services in December, Monarch will offer flights to Munich and Grenoble.

Monarch joins Ryanair and easyJet among the airlines attracted to the airport since it went into private ownership.

Leeds Bradford is in the middle of an £11m transformation of the terminal building.

Monarch already offers scheduled services from Birmingham, Luton, Gatwick and Manchester.

Kevin George, managing director of Monarch Airlines, said: “With over 40 years heritage we are confident out new flights from Leeds Bradford will be a huge success as we continue to widen the range of leisure products available to our customers.”
