Property Appointments: JLL, Blundells, DWF, Ryden and more

JONES Lang LaSalle has bolstered its Yorkshire shopping centre management and shopping centre marketing and commercialisation teams with two new staff appointments.

Charlotte Stabb has joined as a surveying executive in the firm’s shopping centre management team helping on the day-to-day management of number of retail and leisure schemes in the north of England. She has more than three years’ property experience and joins from the Leeds office of CBRE.

Tom Farley, who has five years’ marketing experience, has joined the shopping centre marketing and commercialisation team as an account manager.

Jeff Pearey, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Leeds office, said: “Charlotte and Tom’s arrival strengthens our Shopping Centre expertise, specifically within the areas of property management and marketing, and will ensure our new and existing clients continue to benefit from an experienced and quality service.”

ESTATE agency Blundells has built a new team of mortgage consultants.
 
The team is made up of eight mortgage consultants, located across all 19 of Blundells’ South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire branches.

The consultants will also be able to advise on re-mortgaging and protection needs.

Acquired by Countrywide in 2011, Blundells’ team will form part of the group’s nationwide Mortgage Services network.

LETTINGS agency Robertson Thomas has signalled its intent to grow its property portfolio with the appointment of Preeyesh Parmar as lettings manager.

The focus of the Horsforth-based business, which was founded in 2007, has shifted solely to lettings.

LAW firm DWF has strengthened its construction team with the appointment of Andrew Symms from Eversheds. 

Mr Symms, who joins the firm as a partner, will be based in DWF’s Leeds office and will work across a national client base.

RYDEN has reappointed Andrew Brook as a senior surveyor in its professional group in Leeds.
 
He joins from JD Sports where he specialised in service charges and gained knowledge within the retail property market. 

Mr Brook previously worked at Ryden from 2008 to 2011 as a surveyor in the firm’s property management team. 

In his new role he will provide valuation advice to a range of clients including major clearing banks, accountants, property investors and developers.
