Growing law firm celebrates deals success

GROWING boutique commercial law firm 3volution has capped a strong period of activity after acting on a series of deals.

The Leeds firm is celebrating after advising the sellers on the headline transaction of the sale of Everbuild Building Products, which has a turnover of more than £60m, to SIKA UK.

3volution had advised on its large portfolio of brands for some time.

The firm, which launched two years ago, has grown from the founding partners of Louise Handley, Jonathan Priestley and Tim Stone, to a total headcount of 18, including 12 lawyers.

3volution has attracted its lawyers from national and international law firms, including two corporate lawyers from Pinsent Masons and most recently Paul Ball, who has joined the firm from Eversheds to provide an employment offering in addition to the firm’s corporate, commercial contracts, intellectual property and commercial litigation practices.

Priestley said: “In what has continued to be a slow-moving transaction market, we are pleased that over the past two years we have advised on a number of buyout and acquisition transactions, including in relation to Abracs, Airline Services Holding, Airedale Catering Equipment as well as 17 venture capital fund backed deals.”
