Former college to be converted into luxury apartments

THE former Leeds College of Technology building is being transformed into apartments.
Property investment firm Knight Knox International is working in partnership with Fortis Developments to launch the £2.4m development, East Point.
Set for completion in July next year, the building on East Street, will undergo an extensive refurbishment, before a further two new-build storeys are added to it, in order to house the developments’ 39 residential apartments. Subject to planning permission being granted, the building will be four storeys high and comprise of a range of one, two, and three bed apartments measuring up to 1,100 sq ft when complete.
Building work is set to start at the end of October subject to planning permission.
The development is aimed at young professionals.
