Food and hospitality expert reels in funding for new venture

A FOOD and hospitality expert has launched a new venture following a funding deal.
RBS has provided £30,000 start-up costs to Bryn Lachwatsky to take over the running of a fish and chip shop in Harrogate.
The shop on Grantley Drive, named Olivers 2, opened earlier this month.
Lachwatsky previously owned a cafe in the centre of Harrogate and exited the business with a profit which he was looking to reinvest into a new venture.
RBS relationship manager Haroon Ashfaq organised the funding.
Lachwatsky said: “I enjoyed running the café in Harrogate and was on the lookout for a new business venture and Olivers 2 ticked all the boxes. We are grateful for all the local support we have received so far and looking forward to establishing ourselves in the local community.”
Ashfaq added: “I am delighted we could support Bryn with his latest venture and welcome him to the bank. Business and Consumer confidence is increasing so now is a good time for start-ups to talk to RBS and take the brave step of owning and running a business. I wish Bryn all the very best of luck and look forward to hearing how his business is evolving.”
