Speculative industrial development completed

THE first speculative industrial development in Leeds for more than three years has been completed.
Springwell Point, on Springwell Road close to the city’s Holbeck Urban Village, replaces the former billiard hall and provides premises to cater to rising demand for industrial space in Leeds.
The industrial and logistics agency team at national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has been appointed to secure tenants for four units at the industrial development, ranging from 1,430 sq ft to 6,970 sq ft, in partnership with Carter Towler.
Simon Hill, industrial and logistics surveyor at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “The completion of Springwell Point is a significant step forwards for industrial development in Leeds. It signals the return of confidence in the market and also sets a benchmark in quality and design for industrial development in the city.”
