Build Briefs: Fountain Court Workpods; Frank Marshall Estates; Lush

PROPERTY agents GVA and Doncaster-based LWE Commercial have been jointly appointed to market the environmentally sustainable office units at the first phase of Prospect Property Group’s new 62,000 sq ft Doncaster International Business Park scheme at Robin Hood Airport.

Work started on site at Fountain Court Workpods earlier this month when Henry Boot Construction was appointed as the scheme’s main contractor. Completion is due in May next year.

BRADFORD commercial property developer Frank Marshall Estates has completed a quartet of lettings within a month.

The Bradford sites let included Units 10, 12 and 14 Commondale Way, on the Euroway Trading Estate, offering a total of 13,000 sq ft, where the occupant is now Stockport-based office supplies firm Egan Reid, which has taken a five-year lease. 

In addition, Frank Marshall Estates has leased 3A Upper Croft Mills, Bowling Back Lane, measuring 10,500 sq ft, to distribution and warehousing specialists Peckover Transport, based in Bradford’s Low Moor, for three years and, a further 12,200 sq ft at 5, Upper Croft Mills has been let for a decade to Folding Sliding Doors, whose UK base is in Hopbine Avenue, West Bowling, Bradford.

HANDMADE cosmetics company Lush has opened another Leeds-based store.

It has opened up a 1,950 sq ft outlet at the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds.

The retail team from the Leeds office of GVA acted for Lush on the deal, and also advised the retailer on its recent relocation to a bigger Leeds store in the heart of the city’s retail core.
