Georgian hotel set for spa expansion after £2 million revamp

THE COACH HOUSE at Middleton Lodge will be expanding its spa facilities after a £2 million refurbishment.

Following its opening in October 2014 The Coach House is now expanding to accommodate spa treatment rooms.

Located in the 200 acres grounds of the Georgian country estate in North Yorkshire, the derelict carriage house underwent a multi-million transformation to become The Coach House restaurant and bar, alongside nine bedrooms

James Allison, owner of Middleton Lodge and The Coach House said: “With 26 bedrooms, across both The Coach House and Middleton Lodge, a luxury spa felt like the venue’s next step to providing a unique and memorable experience for all our guests.

“We expect the spa to be a great success and add real value to the whole estate.”

As part of the offering, the country estate’s team is looking to partner with a regionally based therapist, who will be tasked with running and managing the exclusive treatment rooms.
