Residential development with £8m pricetag gets the green light

AN £8M Bradford development is aiming to help get aspiring homeowners on the property ladder.
Housebuilder Keepmoat has been given the green light to deliver 58 homes, a collection of two and three bedroom houses off Chatwell Drive, named Millers Croft.
All the houses will be available to purchase under the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
Steve Armitage, regional sales manager for Keepmoat said: “Last year we completed a new housing development in Shipley, in which we swiftly the sold the 136 homes which were available and were overwhelmed by the demand – particularly from those who were trying to get on the property ladder.
“We are delighted Bradford Council has supported our vision and we look forward to working with the local community to help regenerate and give back more than just the 58 homes we plan to build.”
