Medical firm is first occupier at Bradford business park

MEDICAL equipment provider Anetic Aid has moved into its purpose-built facility in Baildon as it prepares to grow the business.
The £10m-turnover company employs 30 people and decided to move to create the room for another 10 staff in the years ahead. It has completed the move ahead of its 40th anniversary next year.
Anetic Aid supplies operating theatre equipment to hospitals in the UK and abroad and its new 15,000 sq ft unit will enable it to keep many of its 6,000-plus product lines in stock for rapid delivery.
Andrew Curtin, Anetic Aid’s sales director, said: “We’ve come a long way since opening our doors first in a shop front followed by a tiny converted chapel on Wells Road in Guiseley.
“Today, our products can be found in practically every hospital in the UK, and we are increasingly exporting across the world. This move to new premises in Baildon will enable us to grow the business even further and we are very excited about the future.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony at the £15m Sapper Jordan Rossi Business Park was performed by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Cllr Joanne Dodds, who welcomed Anetic Aid as the first business to move on to the site.
Andrew Russell, from developers Pendle Russells, said: “Anetic Aid is exactly the type of business the business park was developed to support, and it’s great to see the team operating from its state-of-the-art new facility at last.
“The company was one of the first to acquire a unit here and this marks the end of an 18-month programme from securing planning permission to opening the doors.”
