European clothing manufacturer agrees warehouse deal

A MANUFACTURER is taking 27,060 sq ft at a Henry Boot development in Doncaster.
The European firm Stuncroft has its UK operations in Yorkshire.
It has now taken on two units at Thorne Park.
Stuncroft is currently based in Goole. The company has been manufacturing and supplying men’s and ladies’ tailored garments for 40 years.
Now, its Clubclass Corporate Clothing division will make Thorne Park its home.
Stuncroft whas agreed to acquire the units ons a freehold purchase basis for an undisclosed sum.
Vivienne Clements, director at Henry Boot developments, commented: “We are extremely pleased to announce the completion of the deal with Stuncroft.
“They are a fantastic addition to Thorne Park and we hope this will aid in the expansion of the company and improve operations across Europe due to the site’s excellent transport links.”
Elizabeth Hay, finance director at Stuncroft Limited, commented: “The company have chosen to re-locate to Thorne Park due to the excellent facilities and locational offering.
“As our operations span Europe and the globe, it is essential we are located on a main arterial route with excellent access to three major motorways.
“Thorne Park was the stand out choice when it came to meeting our requirements. It is the perfect home for both retail supply and storage for the £3m tailored garments we keep in stock .
“We believe the move will strengthen our position further as a leading manufacturer of garments to the biggest brands across the world.”
