Catering equipment provider cooks up Yorkshire expansion

A delivery service provider specialising in the catering equipment sector, based in Kent, has picked South Yorkshire for expansion after signing a 10-year lease on an industrial unit.

IAC Delivery Solutions said the 4,946 sq ft unit at Shaw Lane Industrial Estate in Doncaster, managed by landlord Tilstone Industrial, was chosen primarily for its “strategic location.”

Established 20 years ago in Sittingbourne, IAC Delivery Solutions is a family run company which works with commercial kitchen designers, shop-fitters, suppliers, supermarkets and major food outlets to deliver equipment including refrigerators, ovens and food mixers.

The firm’s spokesperson, Susan Cox, said: “The decision to commit to a ten-year lease on the Shaw Lane Industrial Estate warehouse was largely fuelled by its strategic location which will complement our existing facility in Kent and will allow us to further improve our nationwide bespoke delivery service.”

Ed Norris, a partner at CPP who oversaw the deal, said: “The unit at the Shaw Lane Industrial Estate provides IAC Delivery Solutions with ample storage space and an ideal base from which to service its customers across the country.”
