Global property firm expands with Leeds office move

Construction, property and management consultant, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), which has customers including Asda, Morrisons and West Yorkshire Police, is expanding its northern business with a move to a new Leeds office.

RLB says it expects to create jobs in the coming weeks as a result of the relocation.

Matt Summerhill, partner for RLB Yorkshire and Humber region, said: “We have had an office presence in Leeds for just over a year now and we are very pleased that in that time our business has grown substantially and we have recruited new talent to our team.

“We are delighted to announce that we have now moved to larger premises at West One, 114 Wellington Street in order to build our portfolio and continue to provide our customers with our full range of cost management, building surveying, project management and advisory services.”

“We are looking forward to engaging with public and private sector customers, not just in the Leeds city region, but across the north and north east of England.”

RLB director Dean Sheehy added: “This is an exciting time for RLB in the north of England – we are achieving significant growth in our Cumbria, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Warrington offices, as well as Leeds. We opened for business this week and will be making further appointments to our Leeds team over the next few months.”

RLB currently works for a range of customers in the area including Morrisons, Asda, Bradford and Kirklees Councils, Bradford NHS Trust, University of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire Police and Kirklees College, and the Education Funding Agency.
