Bank funding eyes a promising opportunity

Royal Bank of Scotland has supported the buy-in of a new director and shareholder, Hearen Pancholi, to allow him to formally take up his new position at the independent optician’s chain, Optics 2000.
Hearen has worked for Optics 2000 as a dispensing optician since November 2015 and has secured his future in this longstanding, successful business by joining the existing board of three directors.
Optics 2000 operate three stores in the Midlands, including Uppingham Road and Syston in Leicestershire and Kingsthorpe Shopping Centre in Northampton. The group was established in 1997 and employs 11 staff across the group.
Pancholi said: “I feel very proud and excited to secure my formal position within the management team, as director and shareholder of Optics 2000. This not only helps me develop my future within the business, but also helps to secure the future of the management team of an already very successful company.”
Luke Carter, healthcare manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, added: “Hearen has earned himself a right to be part of the directorship team as a young and ambitious entrepreneur ready to take up this new challenge. We wish him all the very best and look forward to working closely with him and the rest of the management team in the future.”
