Two-hour delays on M1

There are delays of up to two hours on the M1 northbound in Northamptonshire after two lorries crashed in the roadworks.

Although recovery trucks are on the scene, between junctions 18 and 19, near Rugby, queues are stretching back to junction 16, near Northampton.

Highways England is advising drivers to consider an alternative route with traffic expected to be affected until 7.30pm.
