Shoe Zone announces sudden departure of finance boss

The finance boss at Leicester-based retailer Shoe Zone has suddenly left the company.

In a short statement this morning, Shoe Zone said that Peter Foot has stepped down from the company with immediate effect.

The statement added: “The board has started the search for a replacement and a further announcement will be made in due course once an appointment has been made.

“Peter’s departure will not have any impact on the company’s year end results, to be announced on 8 March 2021.”
