Property investors targeted as £3m luxury residential scheme hits the market

How the new scheme could look

A former Nottingham police station is set to go to auction this month with plans to transform the building into £3m residential apartments overlooking the city’s affluent Park Estate.

The former Canning Circus Police Station, on Derby Road, already has full planning permission to create eight luxury residential units with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, and is now on the market for a guide price of £550,000.

Andrew Parker, managing director, and auctioneer at SDL Property Auctions said: “It’s rare to see a property in such a prime location in Nottingham come to auction and we expect interest to be high given its proximity to the city centre and the history of the building itself.

“It will be exciting to see the apartments come to fruition once a buyer is confirmed – based on the views from some of the building’s larger terrace areas, the new units will provide enviable views across The Park and Nottingham.”
