Bulwell land set to go under the hammer

A plot of land in Bulwell in Nottingham is to be put under the online hammer at a nationwide auction.
Located in Merchant Street, the 0.22 acres of land will be put on the market by John Pye Property on 9 and 10 November.
Richard Reed MRICS, head of property at John Pye Property Auctions, said: “Bulwell is a fantastic up-and-coming area which is currently benefitting from a Nottingham City Council £50,000 regeneration scheme to improve pavements and landscaping and make the town a more attractive place for people to live and visit.
“As a result, property buyers are seeing the potential in investing in Bulwell and with improvements to the area due to finish next summer, now is the perfect time to snap up a property and land in the area.
“The plot of land is surrounded by both residential and commercial premises and has previously been granted planning consent. It is also in close walking distance to Tesco Extra, Morrisons and the High Street. There are excellent tram and bus links to Nottingham’s city centre and the M1 is just two miles from Bulwell.”
Investors will also be able to snap up a one-bedroom apartment in Sherwood, Nottingham for the guide price of £59,950 – an excellent investment opportunity with a gross yield of 8.21% as part of the November auction.
Reed added: “We are delighted to see so many investors interested in our Nottingham property offering. Our unique expertise across online auctions means the way we sell property online is a real unique selling point for buyers and distinctive across the industry.
“We are the only UK property auction business which carries out property auctions online with contracts exchanged on the day. Our online property auction has grown significantly and we are now pleased to be celebrating John Pye Property division’s second birthday.
“We have moved to monthly auctions and have extended our 0 per cent seller fee and nil marketing costs meaning our sellers are experiencing great value for money in what is set to be an exciting auction.”
