NG checks out with Farmfoods deal

Commercial property agent NG Chartered Surveyors has brokered a deal to bring the site of a former burned down pub back to life after selling it to Farmfoods.
NG was instructed to market the former Lowmoor Inn in Kirkby in Ashfield and strategically focused on the retail market.
On behalf of the owners of the site a deal was brokered by NG director Sunny Landa to sell the 1-acre site to Farmfoods.
Landa said: “We knew that our market knowledge would see this prime site snapped up by an
established name, and Farmfoods were a pleasure to deal with from day one. It’s great to see the area anchored by such an established name.”
Alistair Kay, head of property acquisition at Farmfoods, said: “Farmfoods is a family run retailer specialising in frozen food. We now operate more than 330 stores across the UK and have served the people of Kirkby in Ashfield and the surrounding areas for many years from our small High Street store. We look forward to opening a brand new Farmfoods on the site of the former Lowmoor Inn – bringing with it not only quality, value and choice for local shoppers but new jobs too.”
