Gleeds looking for new offices in Nottingham

Property and construction consultancy, Gleeds, has confirmed it is looking for new premises in Nottingham, having outgrown its current base at Wilford House on Clifton Lane.
Gleeds has had a presence in Nottingham since 1932 and currently employs 220 people in the city.
“Gleeds Nottingham provides cost and project management advice for clients across all industries, and has a growing asset management operation” said Anthony Cork, director for Gleeds who went on to add, “We have seen growth in all of these areas and it is this continued expansion that has caused us to seek new premises.”
It was recently announced that Gleeds has been appointed to public sector owned built environment specialist Scape Group’s £350m Built Environment Consultancy Services (BECS) framework as part of the Perfect Circle consortium – comprising Pick Everard, Gleeds and AECOM – which helps deliver public sector projects across the UK and is expected to bring new business to the area.
The Gleeds office also acts as the primary UK hub for much of Gleeds’ Indian business which has seen a “considerable” uptake in work over recent months. New wins include the cost management role on the £150m Surat Diamond Bourse scheme in Surat, Gujarat region, as well as the Brookefields Real Estates & Projects Private scheme funded by Brigade Enterprises based in Banglaore, Southern India.
Cork added: “With events like Nottingham in Parliament Day and the India-UK TECH Summit increasing the city’s profile on national and international stages, we want our business to be in the strongest position possible to support the region and its growth potential.”
