On the move: the latest East Midlands property hires

Nottingham estate agency FHP Living has appointed a new professional to its city team as part of its expansion drive within the city.
Rose Simpson, who grew up in Wollaton, joins the agency’s Weekday Cross operation following three years as one of the most successful sales negotiators in Oxford.
In her new role, she will focus on expanding FHP Living’s reach into the Wollaton, Bramcote and Beeston areas of the city, taking advantage of her long-standing local knowledge.
Simpson said: “I decided to move back to Nottingham to re-join my family and friends and wanted to move to a company where I could continue to build on what I have achieved to date in my career. I was really impressed by FHP Living and it was amazing to see just how successful they were in their specialist areas.
“The whole team is so professional and for me it was a no brainer, this was exactly where I wanted to relocate to. I will be focusing on developing the agency in Wollaton, Bramcote and Beeston, which I am really excited about.
“Most of my family and friends live in and around that area of the city, so I am looking forward to helping to drive the expansion.”
Founding director, David Hargreaves added: “FHP Living is a growing agency and we have been looking for the right property expert who will be able to help us drive our offering in the Wollaton, Bramcote and Beeston areas of the city, and Rose fits the bill perfectly.
“She a really in depth knowledge of the area and has an impressive pedigree following a number of years as a highly successful sales negotiator in Oxford, so we are certain she will be a great fit here.”
Lincoln chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has expanded again following a recruitment drive.
James Hall, previously at Geo Hallam & Sons in Nottingham, and Alex Statham have joined the practice.
Banks Long & Co managing director Tim Bradford said: “We are committed to growing the business through the appointment of senior surveyors, who bring a wealth of experience and allow us to maintain and improve all services to our expanding client base within the property development and professional services sectors,”
