Swann heads west

JLT Specialty, the specialist insurance broker, has appointed Sally Swann as the new head of its Birmingham Risk Practice.

Swann, who joined JLT Specialty in 2012 to open its Nottingham office, will take over the role from Wendy Ashley who is leaving the business. Swann has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance broking industry, and will continue to lead the Nottingham office.

Swann said: “This is a great opportunity for me to continue to grow the Midlands business which is strategically important to JLT Specialty, whilst ensuring that our existing clients in the Midlands continue to receive the exceptional service and support they are accustomed to.”

JLT Specialty has been in the Midlands for over 100 years. The Birmingham office is located on Church Street, where it employs over 80 staff.
