On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Rebecca Prime has been appointed by Derby Conference Centre as its new sales and conference office manager.

Prime first started working at the Centre back in 2012 as part of her University course in Events Management. After taking a break from the company to complete her degree and pursue a role as a PA to a billionaire, she was welcomed back into the business in October 2015.

Her responsibilities include overseeing the team and managing the sales executives.

Prime said: “It feels like a family run business here, and it’s a real close-knit team. I’m looking forward to reviewing the areas where our team are strongest and using this to help move the team forward.”

Utilities and construction training provider Develop Training Limited (DTL) has announced the appointment of

Tracy Goodenough

Tracy Goodenough as business development manager – based in its Derby HQ.

Goodenough has worked in the education sector in sales and training roles for more than 15 years, and also has experience working with blue chip companies and universities, both in the UK and mainland Europe, to integrate visualisation systems and technology.

Chris Wall, sales and marketing director at DTL, said: “We welcome Tracy to the company. She brings a wealth of experience, and her in-depth knowledge of qualifications and awarding bodies across all levels of education in the UK will support our clients in providing the most successful and efficient training solutions for their staff.”

Goodenough said: “I am looking forward to bringing my relationship-building skills to the role, really getting to know DTL’s customers, understanding their businesses and how we can work with them to meet their training requirements.”
