Long delays on M1 in Nottinghamshire

Commuters are set for long delays this evening after urgent repairs on the M1 in Nottinghamshire.

On the M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire at junction 25, only two lanes are open whilst we work hard to make urgent repairs.

Early expectation is that the repairs will continue into the evening. Although road users are still able to past the scene of the incident, there are long delays in this area.

Queuing traffic is back towards junction 23. There are also delays on the A42 northbound too, approaching the M1.

Road users planning to travel through this area may wish to consider alternative routes or to allow plenty of extra time for their journey.
