30,000 sq ft retail plan for former Courtaulds buildings

The former Nottingham offices and factory shop of former textiles giant Courtaulds are set to be turned into 30,000 sq ft of retail space.

FHP and Innes England have been appointed to market the new development.

Courtaulds collapsed into administration last year, with 30 jobs being lost at the Haydyn Road site in Nottingham.

David Hargreaves from FHP said: “This is a ‘clever’ location in that it is easily accessible and has the benefit of 150 on-site car parking spaces and yet the rent is just £10/sq ft.”

Hargreaves said early interest has come from the furniture sector in particular and also the gym sector.

Units are available from 3,000 sq ft up to 32,000 sq ft.

The instruction is being handled by David Hargreaves and Oliver Marshall from FHP and Ben Taylor from Innes England.
