Harris Lamb adds new land surveyor

Property consultancy Harris Lamb has appointed land surveyor James Willcock.

Willcock joins the business from Fine & Country Land and New Homes.

Chris Jones, head of the Residential team, said: “James is well known and respected in the field having worked with numerous land owners and having sold sites to a wide range of companies including residential developers, care homes providers and investors.

“With 200 acres of land currently for sale, and a further 100 sites coming to market over the next four years, our team is extremely busy negotiating and overseeing sales and acquisitions, so James’ experience and contact base will prove valuable assets. We’re delighted to have him on board.”

Willcock said: “I had been keen to partner with Harris Lamb in my previous role as I knew a lot of the residential and deals within the Midlands were being dealt with by the residential and planning teams. When I found out the business was looking to grow the team, I put myself forward as it sounded like a new challenge and an opportunity to add value and gain new skills.”

“I hope to assist with and coordinate land deals and create a link between the planning team and land agents, and help to provide a comprehensive service that allows Harris Lamb to offer a full package from planning through to disposal,” he added.
