On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nelsons Solicitors has promoted five employees to associates in its Nottingham office.

Baishali Clayton, Jessica Melniks, Laura Wright, Shelley Litchfield and Tina Collishaw have worked for Nelsons for more than 26 years.

Clayton said: “I was drawn to the firm not only because it had an established reputation, but particularly because there was a specialist clinical negligence team. The department has grown over the years and we are now a strong team of 10 experienced lawyers covering all three offices.

“This area of work can be incredibly challenging, so hard work, determination and empathy are key in being able to deliver an extremely high-quality service to our clients.”

Collishaw added: “I was drawn to Nelsons because it’s a well-respected brand and company and I wanted to continue my career here. I am really proud to have been promoted and I look forward to continuing my work and growing the team.”

Nottingham-based John Pye Auctions has expanded its marketing team.

Ben Ernstzen, Katrina Heath, Emily Tomlinson, Casey Noble and Ashleigh Daley join the existing five members of the marketing team which is led by national marketing manager Faye Rollinson.

Rollinson said: “John Pye Auctions is in a period of considerable expansion which has seen six new sites open in the last 11 months. Marketing is key to managing and utilising that growth while ensuring the trusted John Pye Auctions brand and ethos is adhered to throughout.

“These five new positions have been created to manage the larger demand the business brings to the marketing division and the additional resource and talent will allow us to remain innovative in our marketing campaigns.

“As a team, we are responsible for multiple national campaigns and we are currently working on a number of high-profile projects which will be seen in the public domain over the coming months.

“Ben, Katrina, Emily, Casey and Ashleigh are joining the firm at an exciting time and I am thrilled to welcome them to the team.”
